

Our Mission
NPRC's mission is to systematically strengthen and enhance the social, political, and economic well-being of Puerto Ricans throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico with a special focus on the most vulnerable.
In the past 20 years, NPRC has emerged as one of the most respected and effective organizations advocating for the concerns of the Puerto Rican community.
This visible leadership has resulted in the recognition of NPRC as a valuable partner in the national Hispanic movement. NPRC's President was elected Chair of the National Puerto Rican Leadership Summit in 1996, and in November of 1997, NPRC's President was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibility,(HACR). NPRC's President has served as the Chair of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, a coalition of 40 influential Hispanic non-profit organizations and private sector individuals that monitors the Administration and Congress on issues affecting the Hispanic community. NPRC is also an active member of the Boards of many respected organizations including; The Hispanic Education Coalition, the National Neighborhood Coalition, the National Hispanic Housing Council, and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights.
NPRC performs an important mission, provides relevant services, and addresses the most critical issues confronting our community.
