

Today Judge Susan Bolton issued a preliminary injuction against several sections of the controversial Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070 slated to start July 29th, 2010.
"The DOJ did a magnificent job at proving that this unconstitutional law had local and foreign implications for our country," stated Rafael A. Fantauzzi, President and CEO of the National Puerto Rican Coalition. "It is the job of the federal government to be the lead on immigration not the states. Comprehensive immigration reform must be addressed by the federal government in order to prevent duplication of detrimental local policy that can have political and human implications."
