NPRC CONDEMNS THE VIOLENT ATTACKS ON UPR PERSONNEL & PROPERTY

Washington, DC – The National Puerto Rican Coalition (NPRC) today condemned the violent attacks on University of Puerto Rico administrative personnel by demonstrators at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus. 

“Any violent attacks on individuals or damage to private property are totally unacceptable and counterproductive to a plausible solution,” said Rafael A. Fantauzzi, President & CEO of the National Puerto Rican Coalition. “A cause can be won by exercising all aspects of civic engagement but lack of respect for the safety of any of the parties involved and/or property damage will only complicate the issues.” said Fantauzzi
